The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club Wedding – Ashley & Kris
Planning a wedding can be very tough. Oftentimes, your choice venue is booked over a year in advance or your parents have strong feelings on you getting married in a church or temple. So how do you satisfy everyone that’s involved without really compromising too much and still keeping it within budget? For Ashley & Kris, they opted to have 2 weddings days. One day for the church and another day for their venue. The church wedding was kept very small with only their closest family and friends and their 2nd wedding had everyone. And I think it worked out really well. From a photography perspective, neither wedding day was rushed and we could really take out time to get the photos we needed. We didn’t have to cram in everything into a tight time window. And it was great to spend 2 separate days with the families. We really got to know the family to the point where we felt like family, ourselves! It was truly wonderful!
It was an especially great treat to watch the families enter into a sing-off (think dance-off) during the reception. There are a few photos where you can see Ashley and her girls really get into it against Kris accompanied by his father and 2 best men.
Thank you Ashley & Kris for having us as your wedding photographer!!
