Close your eyes and think of the color: Burnt Orange… or maybe a rusty orange.  Got it?  Maybe? Yes? … If you live outside the state of Texas or didn’t go to a Big 12 Conference school, you may have a difficult time imagining the color.  And if you went to Oklahoma you definitely know the color and probably despise it with passion that Wile E. Coyote despises the Road Runner.  But that’s the color that Melanie and Heri bleed.  As proud University of Texas at Austin alumni, their blood is, literally, burnt orange as it flows through their veins.  That’s where they met and fell in love.  In fact, their wedding is scheduled to be held just off of campus in Austin.

For their engagement shoot, they wanted some thing simple and fun so we mozzied on over to the Kemah Boardwalk and had great time on the various rides.
