A Look Back on Some Child Portraits

So over the past few weeks we’ve been doing a little spring cleaning, not necessarily of our homes, but of our photo archives.  We stumbled upon these old photos of hannah and reagan, a pair of brothers and sisters from Texas.  These photos are probably 2-3 years old, but they are still some of our favorites.

eva & austin’s wedding preview – dallas, tx

The beaming summer rays on the rolling flatlands of Dallas didn’t phase Eva and Austin from enjoying what may be the pinnacle of their lives. The Esvy team had a blast spending the weekend with this lovely couple… and with, dare we say,  Texas BBQ. We’re not going to lie: Surrounding yourself with a free-spirited couple and some great local cuisine… you can’t lose. Stay tuned for more shots!

lynn & gust’s wedding – houston, tx

Sometimes you can lean back in your chair, take stock of what’s going on and say to yourself that everything is perfect,  just like Lynn & Gust’s wedding day.  Although Houston has a reputation of being extremely hot and humid, they could not have asked Mother Nature for more gorgeous weather. The temperature was in the high 70s, and a light breeze picked up as the sun started to set. Adding even more appeal to a picture perfect evening, the glimmer and sparkles across Clear Lake provided a beautiful vista backdrop to their reception.

lynn and gust – kemah, tx

Whether on a boat or on a pier… as long as it’s outside and preferably near the water, that’s where you’ll find Lynn and Gust, well actually unless you have extremely precise GPS coordinates or super mega tracking skills like Bear Grylls or Crocodile Dundee (that’s right, we just gave Mr Dundee some link-love)  otherwise,  you probably won’t find them.  They’re outdoors so much kayaking, camping, hiking, that it’s nearly impossible keep up with them.  But the one secret to slowing them down is entice them with a hammock and the smell of some good BBQ.

michele and keith – galveston, tx

Michele and Keith met a long long time ago…. in a galaxy far, far city not so far from Houston.  They were friends for a very long time, but the timing was never right ; life kinda just got in the way.  Then love found a way.  For their first date, Keith took Michele to The Strand in Galveston, TX.  The Creole culture and one-of-a-kind character of this area attracts the locals like a kid in the candy store, and the weekend of the photo shoot proved to be no different. We scurried to the outskirts of The Strand with camera in hand to escape the crowds and find some calm away from the bustling main drag.
