Houston Wedding | Narmeen & Joe
It’s always nice to get out of NY from time to time, especially when NY is hitting a cold spell and Houston was a nice toasty 70-80 deg F. So that was a pretty nice bonus to photographing Narmeen and Joe’s wedding. And from photography perspective, there was so much to love about this wedding.
But let’s start from the beginning of the wedding day. The couple got ready at a gorgeous house, just outside of Houston. There was the usual bustling house with lots of activity, everyone’s prepping their clothes, helping each other out, smiling and having a good time. So the energy level was particularly high with so many people milling about. And the area of the house where Narmeen was getting was beautiful! Gorgeous, diffused light through shear white window curtains! A photographer could not have asked for prettier light! Narmeen’s jewelry was especially exquisite! Make sure you check out those photos!
The ceremony was at a pretty little church that was much brighter than most NY churches and allowed a lot of natural light to filter in with natural colors.
As for the reception, at the Royal Oaks Country Club, that was just an awesome time. Everyone’s energy was going strong the entire night! My 2nd photographer even said that everyone on the dance floor was like the Energizer Bunny, they just kept going. There was even 1 Bridesmaid who got very little to no sleep the night before and she was tearing up the dance floor!
Thank you, Narmeen & Joe, for having me as your wedding photographer! I had such a wonderful time!
